How to add Captions
How to request closed captions or an audio description to course videos
Requesting captions through the office of Assistive Technology Initiative (ATI) is an easy 2 step automated process.
First, add the tag "needs captions" to your video in the tag area of the video's metadata.
* Reminder: Tags can be added anytime to new or preexisting content in your Kaltura My Media library. (see Placing Video in a Course Content Area).
Then, contact the office of Assistive Technology Initiative (ATI) by completing a Request Services Form for closed captioning and audio description for your video. Here you will provide your video and course information and select a date for the captioning to automatically be completed.
